Password change guide

Use the dashboard settings to change your account password while you are signed in.

Signed-in action

Password change is available from the website dashboard after login. It is not a public form.

Where to change your password

  1. Sign in on the website.
  2. Open Dashboard.
  3. Go to the Settings tab.
  4. Stay in the Account section.
  5. Fill in the password form.
  6. Click Change password.

The password form is located in Dashboard > Settings > Account.

What fields are required

The password form uses three fields:

  • Current password
  • New password
  • Confirm new password

All three fields are required.

Password rules

The new password follows the same validation rules as the website registration form.

If the new password does not match this format, the site rejects it.

Important restrictions

  • The current password must be entered correctly.
  • The new password must be different from the current password.
  • The confirmation field must exactly match the new password.

If one of these checks fails, the password is not changed.

How to change your password

  1. Open Dashboard > Settings.
  2. Enter your current password.
  3. Enter the new password.
  4. Repeat the same new password in the confirmation field.
  5. Submit the form.

The form includes show or hide password buttons next to each password input if you want to verify what you typed before submitting.

What happens after success

If the change is successful:

  • the site shows a Password changed notification
  • the password form is cleared
  • your new password becomes the active login password for the account

Common errors

The dashboard can return errors such as:

  • Current password is incorrect
  • New password must be different from current password
  • Password format is invalid
  • Passwords do not match
  • Failed to change password

These messages help identify whether the problem is the old password, the new password format, or the confirmation field.

If you forgot the current password

To change the password from the dashboard, you must know the current password.

Recovery status

Password recovery exists as a website section, but it is currently under development. If you forgot the current password, the normal dashboard password change form is not enough on its own.

Best practices

  • Use a new password that is different from the old one.
  • Double-check the confirmation field before submitting.
  • Use the password visibility button if needed.
  • Avoid sharing your password with anyone.
  • Change your password immediately if you suspect account access by someone else.

Common questions

Can I change my password without being logged in?

No. The password change form is inside Dashboard > Settings, so you need to be signed in first.

Can I reuse my current password?

No. The new password must be different from the current one.

Why is the form rejected even though I filled all fields?

The most common reasons are:

  • the current password is wrong
  • the new password does not match the required format
  • the confirmation field does not match the new password

Can I recover my password if I forgot it?

The website has a password recovery section, but it is currently under development.
